Pretty sure you shouldn't follow that advice, I'm calling BS on tulpas attacking people you know, @Ryukil . Every experience is different, and you shouldn't base your own on others.
“so, you're saying, Maple, that you think it's possible for a tulpa to possess people and make them attack their loved ones?”
Not unless you were yourself likely to do that to begin with.
Tulpas don’t add anything new. They are created from your desires. What you expect is likely what you will get. And you can always try to work with your tulpa if they are causing issues.
They can grow and become their own being, but it's rather hard to make a malicious tulpa. Malicious tulpas tend to not have "reliable"/honest systems or can be pre-disposed to their host's mental disorders. My host is developing dyslexia and I have trouble typing sometimes.
anyway, I want to take this time to apologize to the community. I really was not trying to be annoying. OCD can cause people to endlessly seek reassurance, though, because the whole thing is based on an inability to tolerate any kind of uncertainty. There's a reason it's called the doubting disease. But, I hope I didn't piss anyone off too much. I will definitely stop posting about it.
The noosphere (; sometimes noösphere) is the sphere of human thought. The word derives from the Greek νοῦς (nous "mind") and σφαῖρα (sphaira "sphere"), in lexical analogy to "atmosphere" and "biosphere". It was introduced by Pierre T...
yeah, it's possible a tulpa could help me with my OCD and anxiety
1:55 AM
or maybe not. haha.
1:56 AM
but whatever, no use talking about it. maybe I'll find out sometime.
1:58 AM
it's nice to know I could die if I wanted to. Anyway sorry, I'll stop. Please just ban me if you want. Sorry to everyone. Didn't want to piss people off.
@Ryukil#7308 For if/when you return, please do talk to somebody if you are feeling suicidal. You are welcome in the lounge if you need to vent, professional help is highly recommended as well.
Does anyone else have tulpas that do violence upon each other in their wonderland and have like... viruses sometimes that you have to get rid of or like bugs sometimes that makes them act differently that you have to remove, and many times you go to the wonderland a new incident happens?
6:08 AM
There is always so much drama with my tulpas and its not intrusive thoughts at all. I can dispel those.
I don't know your answer, but I will take a guess.
Maybe they are trying to grow themselves, but are doing it in a wrong way? Then you have to go back and fix the mistake they did forcibly?
Again, no idea. But have you talked with them about it? What did they say?

(Why do Tulpa have to be so uncertain and strange? So different from case to case. Man, we're weird. ) -Wolf
I learned about them being tulpas a few weeks ago. I learned about them in general about more than a month ago. However they started as thoughtnforms that existed within me more many many years and we already pretty much tulpas without form- so I would consider them accidental tulpas I never knew I had. Thus I never really noticed and kind of neglected them. So I think it drove them a bit... Mad. XD. And I have to fix and educate and train them properly now and take responsibility and be a good host now that I am aware of them.
I used to have a tulpa named twilight years ago (a very shabby, unfinished and non-sentient tulpa) and now when I try to think of the name of the tulpa I have been working on, the name twilight pops in my head
12:08 AM
After seeing my tulpa in my mindscape I'm almost certain it isn't an attempted name change
12:09 AM
I have no idea why it happens but every time I try thinking of the name of my tulpa twilight replaces it except for when I am actually talking to my tulpa, then the name "replacement" doesn't happen
Two questions:
1- Well, normally people cant truly multi-task, however, does having Tulpa give you true multi-tasking, or not?
2- Is anyone able to play Rock Paper scissors with one hand, and the tulpa uses the other hand? (Because we can't really)
1) I wanna say the purest form of 'multitasking' might be unattainable by standard means, so having a tulpa do something while you do something else could be considered a form of multitasking, but I don't think anyone can purely achieve the ideal form of 'multitasking'
2) I have never tried :D I am not at that point yet.
I just realized something... My Tulpa, Wolf, is very much alike to Wolf of the Kindred, from League of legends. Spliting yourself, shadowy wolf, growly voice... "so he would always have a friend." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4ufa7hik08
Ed: unless you teach yourself to multitask. Also my tups tell me they can function without me paying attention to them in the WL and i dont have any reason not to believe them. That being said i know tups that claim time sort of skips for them if theyre not being paid attention to so its probably something that varies from person to person
I find that Irene is usually paying at least partial attention to whatever I’m doing and if she decides she’s interested she’ll start to watch without letting me know (there have been several times that I’ve gone to visual her and seen her already paying attention) but if she isn’t paying attention she usually appears like staring mindlessly into the distance
You can reach yourself to "multitask", but it is limited. The brain does have limited capability, and while you may feel as if you are multitasking quite well, you almost certainly aren't. If you want to truly test this, try to solve a more complicated math problem while your tulpa tries to solve an equally complicated one. Even ones such as... 102*34 and 47*26.(edited)
More likely, "multitasking" is doing multiple things at once that you can do via reflex with less focus or which require minimal deliberation, or one thing that requires almost no conscious thought and one that requires greater focus. For instance, Skye and I can hold two simultaneous and separate conversations requiring different trains of thought. However, this is assuming they do not require focused thought or consideration of a more complex question or issue. At that point, conversations can become slightly tangled together without serious focus on keeping them separate... Which causes response time and/or response quality to the complicated question/issue to diminish.

@AmeLumineux I typically spend my time paying attention to what Skye is doing, unless something grabs my attention that I want to interact with or that I want to comment on. Otherwise, if I don't want to pay attention, I simply go "inactive". I'm sure I could make up some wonderland adventure I "had" while inactive, but it would be false. Just a thin, underdeveloped imagination compared to what I could imagine if I focused on it for some time. But then, if I did that, it would cause Skye's focus to diminish for the same reasons as stated above...

As for vocality, I assume you are referring to speaking using the body? You mentioned that you asked Irene questions, so I assume you can already communicate and she has vocality in that sense.
She is able to communicate through nonverbal movements of her form and through sending me images of what she’s thinking but she can’t articulate words with her mind voice, Atleast not many she can say “it’s okay” and “cool” but as far as I’m aware that’s it but it may be me not knowing how to listen(edited)
It's not even a recommendation, possession takes more time than being able to communicate. Frankly it's a bit silly to go for a more difficult technique first than getting the prerequisites out of the way.
In regards to multitasking, we used to be able to do it fine but as age has been catching up with us, we've noticed some hiccups with it at times.
